Emily Keener Silverman

Emily joined Canapi in 2019 and is currently working as the Platform Associate. She plays a leading role in accelerating the build-out of the platform, including investor engagement, thought leadership, portfolio company support, and data management. Emily works closely across the operations and investment teams on projects focused on enhancing Canapi’s relationship with investors and portfolio companies.

Before joining Canapi, Emily worked on Capitol Hill for four years as Director of Operations for the House Agriculture Committee and as an executive assistant to the chairman of the committee. Emily is a graduate of Texas Tech University, with a double major in marketing and management. She lived and worked abroad in Spain and Italy. Emily is an active participant at the DC Improv Comedy Club and an aspiring sustainable farmer.
