Kristie Han

Kristie is a principal at Canapi, where she focuses on our collective venture and growth equity investing efforts across AI, horizontal, and vertical apps.

Kristie joins Canapi with a decade of experience investing in software companies, having partnered with growth stage companies throughout her career at Bain Capital, PSG, Riverside, and Raymond James. Most recently, as a principal at Bain Capital Ventures, she led Series B to pre-IPO opportunities across AI, horizontal, and vertical apps, and led and contributed to investments in Apollo, EvenUp, MaintainX, Relay, Homebase, and Wonder. Since her initial days at Bain, Kristie led Bain’s growth efforts building theses and deploying capital across next-gen AI.

Prior to Bain, Kristie spent five years at PSG, formerly Providence Equity’s growth arm, as well as at Riverside, where she focused on providing growth capital to horizontal and vertical SaaS companies via majority and minority investments in companies such as Inhabit, mPulse, Sevenrooms, Tribute, CKSource, amongst many others. She comes with deep expertise across vertical software companies embedding payments and fintech strategies.

Kristie graduated from Harvard College with a major in Economics and minor in Psychology. She was bornin Seoul, South Korea and spent her formative years in Mexico City and San Diego. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and spinning, and she loves Mexican food, hot sauce, and natural wine.
