Pete Underwood

Pete Underwood serves as CTO of Canapi Ventures.

Previously, he served as chief technology officer of Live Oak Bank and Live Oak Ventures, as well as co-founder of Apiture. In these roles, he developed and invested in cutting-edge technologies that are the foundations for the future of digital banking.

Pete Underwood was also one of the principal founders and chief technology officer of nCino.

‍

Pete spent 20 years developing and designing capital markets systems and core mission critical applications for financial firms. He was senior vice president of development at Wall Street Access and a developer and consultant at Credit X, ICE (via acquisition of TZero), Lord Abbett and Warburg Dillon Read investment bank.
